Half a year folks.

Half a year since I've created something worth calling anything. There's that one dumb palm tree picture, but it was drawn on a whim, and is hardly anything to gush about. Then I have a photo of myself. But hell, I didn't even take it (however, if I had... I'm pretty sure that'd be amazing)

But even then, I'm looking at a lot of my 'old works', and I don't like a lot of them. 'Julian Casablancas' literally makes me laugh when I look at it, but I was 14 when I drew him, so how much can I really complain? Then there's 'Fear of Sleep', which looks a lot better in person, but still is lacking something. Everything else has its issues, but isn't that the story of life?

Truthfully, my favorite piece has been 'Amante' because it came out of nowhere, it didn't take me long for whatever reason, and turned out so much better than I had anticipated. But I gave it away as a present... no one else seemed to really like it... and since then I haven't come up with anything. Ah, the woes of a struggling artist.

I will honestly try to get my act togeather so I can 'wow' all of you folks. Until then, I'll just keep logging on occasionally and think to myself every now and then 'Maybe I should, like, do art?'.

In other news, I just purchased my tickets to MUSE, which is pretty outstanding, considering they are on my list of 'Bands to see before you're killed'. I've had an opportunity to see them twice before. The first time my family went on vacation the week they were in town... the second time they were paired up with MCR when we bought the tickets, but when I went to the concert, it was sadly MUSE-less.

Third times a charm I guess, unless I tragically die on my way to the concert. That would be an incredibly appropriate way for a budding artist like myself to die though. And I'd probably become famous... so either way, I'm golden.
